Burnout and Stress Therapy in Dublin

Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or like you can't switch off?

When life feels relentless, it can be difficult to know when everyday stress has become too much.

You may be constantly tired, struggling to switch off, becoming more irritable, finding it difficult to concentrate, or feeling that you're simply running on empty. Perhaps you're managing work, family and other responsibilities, but inside you're struggling to keep going.  You don't have to wait until you're completely burned out before asking for help.

How can therapy help?

Therapy offers a space to step back from the pressures you're experiencing and understand what's happening beneath the surface.

Together, we can explore the sources of your stress and burnout, including anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, work pressures and the expectations you place on yourself.

My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to you. Rather than simply helping you cope with an overwhelming situation, therapy can help you understand your patterns, reconnect with yourself and explore what might need to change.

You might be experiencing:

  • Constant tiredness or feeling emotionally drained

  • Difficulty switching off from work or responsibilities

  • Feeling overwhelmed or unable to cope

  • Anxiety or persistent worry

  • Irritability or feeling more emotional than usual

  • Loss of motivation or enjoyment

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Feeling guilty when you're not being productive

  • Struggling to say no or set boundaries

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You don't have to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes recognising that “I can't keep going like this” is enough of a reason to seek support.  I spent 20 years working in the technology industry before becoming a psychotherapist, so I understand the pressures that can come with demanding careers, high expectations and trying to balance work with the rest of your life.

I offer burnout and stress therapy from my practice in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, as well as online throughout Ireland.

Sessions are €70 for 50 minutes.

If you're not sure whether therapy is right for you, you can book a free 15-minute consultation to talk briefly about what's bringing you to therapy and see whether I might be the right therapist for you.

You don't have to keep pushing through.
